Inspired Hope Counseling
Where you will find hope, care and respect on your journey to a more fulfilling life.
During my 12 year career serving Veterans from all eras suffering from mental health and psychosocial issues including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addictions; declining health; advancing age; physical disabilities and family/relationship issues, I learned the importance of hope. The most important thing a therapist can do is offer clients and their families hope that change is possible.
I sincerely hope as you explore this website you too will find hope that change is possible. You can learn the skills needed to live a more meaningful, productive and happier life! I would be honored to serve as your guide on your journey to change. At Inspired Hope Counseling you will always find hope, care and respect.
Educational Background
I earned my Bachelors degree in Social Work from East Tennessee State University in 2001 and a Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 2002. I am currently licensed in both Tennessee (2018) and North Carolina (2004) for independent clinical practice.
Post graduate activities include completing graduate courses in Blind Rehabilitation(2008) and NASW certification in clinical supervision (2016). Over 40 hours of continuing education are completed each licensure period to ensure clients receive the most effective evidence-based treatments available.
I believe in an integrated approach to therapy that is based on each client’s individual needs and preferences.
